Abstract
This standard specifies the product classification, structure, and materials, marking, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of timing belts for general transmission (hereinafter referred to as timing belts). This standard applies to timing belts for general industrial use. This standard does not apply to automotive timing belts.
