Abstract
This part of GB/T 7631 specifies the detailed classification of lubricants for air compressors, gas compressors, and refrigeration compressors in Group D of Class L (lubricants, industrial oils, and related products).
This part is applicable to the use of lubricants in specific fields, especially for stationary air compressors, to minimize the risk of fire and explosion. The relevant safety rules are specified in GB 10892. The purpose of this part is to provide a reasonable scope of use for commonly used air compressor lubricants, gas compressor lubricants, and refrigeration compressor lubricants in China, rather than imposing unnecessary restrictions on these compressor lubricants through product specifications or product descriptions.
This part should be understood in conjunction with GB/T 7631.1.
