GB 31241-2022 Lithium ion cells and batteries used in portable electronic equipments—Safety technical specification
Abstract
This document specifies the safety requirements and test methods for lithium-ion batteries and battery packs used in portable electronic products.
This document applies to lithium-ion batteries and battery packs used in portable electronic products (hereinafter referred to as batteries and battery packs), and examples of portable electronic products within the scope of this document are as follows:
a) Portable office products: laptops, tablets, etc.;
b) Mobile communication products: mobile phones, cordless phones, walkie-talkies, etc.;
c) Portable audio/video products: portable televisions, portable audio/video players, cameras, camcorders, voice recorders, Bluetooth headsets, portable speakers, etc.;
d) Other portable products: electronic navigators, digital photo frames, game consoles, e-books, mobile power supplies, portable energy storage power supplies, portable projectors, wearable devices, etc.
Lithium-ion batteries and battery packs for similar applications as the above examples can refer to this document for use.
For lithium-ion batteries or battery packs used in portable electronic products in specific scenarios such as vehicles, ships, and airplanes, as well as in special fields such as medical, mining, and underwater operations, there may be additional requirements.
This document does not apply to lithium-ion batteries and battery packs used in electronic cigarettes.
