Abstract
This part of YY/T 1649 specifies the in vitro platelet activation test method for evaluating the blood compatibility of medical devices/materials. This standard is applicable to the evaluation of the platelet adhesion performance and activation potential on the surface of medical devices/materials.
The test system established in this part is suitable for human blood. If animal blood is used, the test can be conducted based on demonstrating its suitability.
