Abstract
This standard specifies the method outline, reagents and materials, instruments and equipment, coal sample preparation, instrument calibration, measurement steps, result calculation, method precision, and test reports for determining the Hardgrove Grindability Index (HGI) of coal using the Hardgrove method (hereinafter referred to as the "Hardgrove method").
This standard is applicable to bituminous coal and anthracite coal.
