GB/T 30711-2014 Test method for thermogravimetry(TG)of friction materials
Abstract
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, test equipment, sample preparation, equipment calibration, test procedures, result presentation, and test reports for determining the thermal decomposition temperature of friction materials.
This standard is applicable to determining the decomposition temperature and decomposition rate of dry friction materials, as well as to determining the content of volatile substances, additives, and/or fillers in friction materials. The raw materials used in friction materials can be used as a reference.
This standard is applicable to thermogravimetric measurements conducted in either dynamic mode (where the mass changes with temperature or time under programmed conditions) or isothermal mode (where the mass changes with time at a constant temperature).
