Abstract
This section specifies the method for determining the content of peroxides in industrial styrene.
This section is not intended to address all safety issues related to its use. It is the user's responsibility to establish appropriate safety and health measures to ensure compliance with relevant national regulations.
Note: Styrene is flammable and can undergo an exothermic polymerization reaction when in contact with peroxides, inorganic acids, and aluminum trichloride. High concentrations of liquid styrene and its vapors can be irritating to the eyes and respiratory system.
