Abstract
This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, marking, and information provided by manufacturers for horizontal lifeline devices.
This standard applies to horizontal lifeline devices used to prevent falls from a height, and the total weight of the operator and the load carried should not exceed 100 kg.
This standard does not apply to horizontal lifeline devices used for firefighting and sports purposes.
