Abstract
This document specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of gamma ray flaw detectors. This document does not specify the requirements for the measurement and reading system of gamma ray flaw detectors. This document is applicable to flaw detectors that use gamma rays emitted by sealed radioactive sources for industrial radiographic inspection. This document is not applicable to gamma ray flaw detectors designed for special purposes.
