This document specifies the quality requirements and inspection rules for the seeds of rice (Oryza sativa), corn (Zea mays), wheat (Triticum aestivum), barley (Hordeum vulgare), buckwheat (Fagopyrum tataricum), sweet buckwheat (Fagopyrum esculentum), oats (Avena sativa), sorghum (Sorghum bicolor), millet (Setaria italica), and foxtail millet (Panicum miliaceum), and describes the inspection methods.
This document is applicable to the aforementioned cereal crops produced and sold for commercial purposes.
