Abstract
This document describes the method of determining formaldehyde in toy materials using high-performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry.
This document is applicable to the determination of formaldehyde in foamed materials such as ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA), polyethylene (PE), chemically cross-linked polyethylene (XPE), and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) in toy products. The determination of formaldehyde in other foamed materials can be used for reference.
