This standard specifies the fire resistance test methods for doors and rolling shutters installed at the openings of vertical partitioning components. Such as: - Hinged doors and pivoting doors; - Horizontal sliding doors and vertical sliding doors, including linked sliding doors and segmented doors; - Rolling shutter doors; - Other sliding and folding doors; - Flap doors; - Panels that can be moved in walls. The test methods specified in this standard can also be used by analogy to determine the fire resistance performance of non-load-bearing horizontal doors and rolling shutters. The direct application scope given in Chapter 13 does not apply to horizontal doors. This standard does not include requirements for mechanical adaptability, such as vibration tests or durability tests, which are included in the relevant product standards.
