Abstract
This document describes the methods for determining color, turbidity, odor and taste, visible impurities, pH, electrical conductivity, total hardness, total dissolved solids, volatile phenols, and anionic synthetic detergents in drinking water, as well as the methods for determining color, turbidity, odor and taste, visible impurities, pH, electrical conductivity, total hardness, total dissolved solids, and volatile phenols (extracted by 4-aminobenzene sulfonic acid methyl chloride and measured by spectrophotometry) in source water. This document is applicable to the determination of sensory characteristics and physical indicators in drinking water and/or source water.
