GB/T 3098.23-2020 Mechanical properties of fasteners—M42～M72 bolts,screws and studs
Abstract
This part of GB/T 3098 specifies the mechanical and physical properties of bolts, screws, and studs made of alloy steel when tested at an ambient temperature of 10℃ to 35℃. Fasteners that meet the requirements of this part within this ambient temperature range may not meet the specified mechanical and physical properties when the temperature exceeds this range.
Note 1: Fasteners produced in accordance with this part are suitable for use at temperatures of -50℃ to +150℃. When the use temperature exceeds -50℃ to +150℃, or even up to +300℃, users need to consult relevant parties.
Note 2: For the selection and application of steels for low and high temperatures, refer to GB/T 150.2, EN 10269, ASTM F2281, and ASTM A 320/A 320M.
Note 3: This part does not apply to certain fasteners whose heads have a small shear area due to their geometric dimensions, which may not meet the tensile or torque requirements of this part.
