Abstract
This standard specifies the classification, requirements, testing, inspection rules, and marking of fire sound and/or light alarms.
This standard applies to fire sound and/or light alarms installed and used in general industrial and civil buildings. Fire sound and/or light alarms installed in other environments with special performance requirements shall also comply with this standard, unless otherwise specified by relevant standards for special requirements.
