This standard specifies the general principles and requirements for the design and use of machine safety labels firmly attached to earthmoving machinery, outlines the purpose of the labels, stipulates the basic form and color, and provides guidance for formulating the various components of the safety labels.
This standard applies to earthmoving machinery as defined in ISO 6165.
