GB/T 7778-2008 Number designation and safety classification of refrigerants
Abstract
This standard specifies the method of numbering refrigerants to replace chemical names, molecular formulas, or trade names. When using the refrigerant numbering method specified in this standard, the use of chemical names and molecular formulas is not excluded.
This standard also stipulates the safety classification of refrigerants according to their toxicity and flammability hazards, and evaluates their environmental friendliness based on environmental indicators such as the ozone depletion potential and global warming potential of refrigerants.
This standard applies to refrigerants used in refrigeration and air conditioning equipment and devices.
