YY/T 1426.3-2017 Implants for surgery—Wear of total knee joint prostheses—Part 3: Loading and displacement parameters for wear-testing machines with displacement control and corresponding environmental conditions for test
Abstract
This part of YY/T 1426 specifies the flexion/extension relative angular motion between joint components, loading methods, test speeds and durations, sample assembly, and test environment requirements when conducting wear tests on total knee joint prostheses on knee wear testing machines with axial loading control, flexion/extension angle motion control, anterior/posterior displacement control, and tibial part rotational motion control.
The kinematic description specified in this part may not be suitable for knee joint prostheses with high constraints, as it may lead to the destruction of joint components in the early stages of the test and thus cannot represent the clinical expected performance.
