Abstract
This document specifies the safety technical requirements and measures that should be taken by the designers, manufacturers, and suppliers of hydraulic presses used for cold processing of cold metal or metal containing some cold metal.
The scope of this document applies to hydraulic presses, ranging from small high-speed machine tools operated by a single operator for the production of small workpieces to large slow-speed machine tools operated by multiple operators for the production of large and complex workpieces.
