Abstract
This document specifies the requirements for general-purpose oil systems, to be used in conjunction with ISO 10438-1. These oil systems can provide lubricating oil, rather than sealing oil.
This document is applicable to equipment such as compressors, gearboxes, pumps, and drive units.
Note: The term "general-purpose" is defined in ISO 10438-1.
