GB/T 13912-2020 Metallic coatings—Hot dip galvanized coatings on fabricated iron and steel articles—Specifications and test methods
Abstract
This standard specifies the technical requirements and test methods for hot-dip galvanized coatings on steel products. This standard does not specify the post-processing and protective coatings of hot-dip galvanized products.
This standard applies to hot-dip galvanized coatings on steel products (including certain castings). This standard does not apply to the following cases:
a) Plates, wires, braids, or welded nets produced by continuous hot-dip galvanizing;
b) Pipes and rods produced by automated equipment for hot-dip galvanizing;
c) Hot-dip galvanized products (such as fasteners) that adopt special standards, have additional requirements, or have hot-dip galvanized products that are inconsistent with the requirements of this standard.
Note: Some product standards may specify the requirements for hot-dip galvanized coatings of their products by referring to this standard or modifying some provisions of this standard. Different provisions may also be made for the galvanized coatings of products to meet specific requirements.
