Abstract
This standard specifies the terminology of pressure testing for industrial metal valves, the relevant circumstances of pressure testing, the requirements for pressure testing, the testing methods and steps, and the requirements for test results.
This standard applies to industrial metal valves. This standard should be used in conjunction with the product standards for valves.
This standard can also be applied to other types of valves with the consent of both the supplier and the buyer.
