Abstract
This standard specifies the product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, and storage of automotive multi-V belts (hereinafter referred to as "belts").
This standard applies to belts used for power transmission in automotive internal combustion engines, such as fans, electric motors, water pumps, compressors, power steering pumps, and superchargers.
