Abstract
This standard specifies the general requirements for all types of medical tapes (also known as adhesive bandages) that come into contact with the body surface or wounds, including the general requirements for adhesive dressings.
This standard does not include:
a) The requirements for the protective layer on the adhesive surface of medical tapes (including adhesive dressings);
b) The requirements for the dressing pads in adhesive dressings;
c) The packaging requirements for medical tapes.
