Abstract
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and content of purchase orders (or contracts) for industrial silicon.
This standard applies to industrial silicon produced by the smelting of silica with carbon-based reducing agents in a miner's furnace, which is mainly used for preparing alloys, producing polysilicon, and manufacturing organosilicon products, etc.
