Abstract
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, technical requirements, test methods, determination rules, and inspection reports for the safety requirements of foot protection shoes (boots).
This standard applies to foot protection shoes (boots) that protect the wearer's feet and legs from hazards in the work area.
This standard does not apply to foot protection shoes (boots) containing electronic and electrical components, and it does not include the testing of the protective performance of foot protection shoes (boots) or the chemical analysis of metal components.
