Abstract
This standard specifies the fuel consumption limits for passenger cars.
This standard applies to M1 class vehicles that can run on gasoline or diesel fuel and have a maximum design total mass of no more than 3500 kg.
This standard does not apply to vehicles that only run on gas fuel or alcohol-ether fuels.
