This standard specifies the terms and definitions of polyethylene geomembranes, the requirements for base resins, product classification, code and naming, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, storage, and transportation.
This standard applies to polyethylene geomembranes produced from polyethylene resins and ethylene copolymers, with various additives added during the manufacturing process.
