GB/T 6324.8-2014 Test methods of organic chemical products—Part 8:Determination of water of liquid products—Carl·fischer coulometric method
Abstract
This part of GB/T 6324 specifies a test method for determining the moisture content in most liquid organic chemical products - the Karl Fischer coulometric method.
This part is applicable to the determination of the mass fraction of water in products ranging from 0 to 2.0%.
This part is not applicable to the determination of moisture in samples that can react with the main components of the Karl Fischer reagent to produce water, or in samples that can reduce iodine or oxidize iodide.
In some cases, the samples need to undergo pre-treatment measures, which are all specified in the corresponding product standards.
