Abstract
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, symbols and abbreviations, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and markings, packaging, transportation, and storage for turbocharged air coolers of internal combustion engines.
This standard applies to turbocharged air coolers of internal combustion engines used in automobiles, tractors, and construction machinery (hereinafter referred to as intercoolers). Turbocharged air coolers for other purposes can also be used as a reference.
