GB/T 15558.2-2023 Buried polyethylene(PE) piping systems for the supply of gaseous fuels—Part 2:Pipes
Abstract
This document specifies the materials, product classification, size and deviation, physical and mechanical properties, inspection rules, marking and packaging, transportation and storage requirements of buried polyethylene (PE) pipes for gas use (hereinafter referred to as "pipes"). It also describes the corresponding test methods. Together with other parts of GB/T 15558, this document is applicable to buried polyethylene pipeline systems for gas use with an operating temperature of -20 ℃ to 40 ℃ and a maximum operating pressure (MOP) of no more than 1.0 MPa. This document is applicable to buried polyethylene pipes for gas use with a nominal outer diameter of 16 mm to 800 mm, manufactured from PE 100-grade and PE 80-grade compounds.
