This document specifies the classification, usage conditions, general characteristics, test items, and test methods for traction transformers, auxiliary transformers, and reactors installed on locomotives and rolling stock. This document applies to traction transformers and auxiliary transformers installed on locomotives and rolling stock, as well as various types of reactors connected to the traction and auxiliary circuits of locomotives and rolling stock. Note: When the requirements in GB/T 1094 (all parts) do not conflict with this document or national standards related to traction applications, they can be applied to traction transformers and reactors. This document can also be applied to three-phase AC grid-side traction transformers of electric trainsets and transformers connected to single-phase and multi-phase auxiliary circuits of locomotives and rolling stock, except for instrument transformers and transformers with a rated output power of less than 1 kVA for single-phase and less than 5 kVA for multi-phase. This document does not apply to auxiliary equipment installed on transformers or reactors, such as tap changers, resistors, heat sinks, fans, etc., which are tested in accordance with relevant standards.
