Abstract
This document specifies the determination of the purity of industrial propylene and hydrocarbon impurities by gas chromatography, including methane, ethane, ethylene, propane, cyclopropane, isobutane, n-butane, propylene dioxide, acetylene, cis-2-butene, 1-butene, isobutylene, trans-2-butene, 1,3-butadiene, and methylacetylene.
This document is applicable to the determination of industrial propylene with a purity greater than 98% (by volume) and a content of hydrocarbon impurities not less than 1 mL/m3.
