This document specifies the general method for testing the odor emission of building materials products in an environmental test chamber, including the test equipment and facilities, sample preparation, odor emission and sample collection, odor evaluation team, odor testing methods, and test reports. This document is applicable to the odor emission testing of building materials products such as wood-based panels and their products, coatings, adhesives, insulation materials and products, flooring materials, wallpaper/wall coverings, and sports field materials.
