Abstract
This part of GB/T 23561 specifies the terms and definitions for calculating the porosity of coal and rocks, the calculation of the total porosity of coal and rocks (including both open and closed pores), and the calculation method of the effective porosity of coal and rocks (i.e., the open porosity).
This part is applicable to the calculation of the porosity of coal and rocks, where the calculation of the effective porosity is suitable for samples that do not disintegrate when exposed to water and do not change in volume.
