GB/T 20720.2-2006

This part, together with Part 1 of GB/T 20720, jointly specifies the general interface content between manufacturing control functions and other enterprise functions. The interface considered is the interface between Layers 3 and 4 of the hierarchy model defined in GB/T 20720.1. Its purpose is to reduce the risks, costs, and errors associated with implementing these interfaces. Since GB/T 20720 covers many fields, each of which has different standards, the semantic description of this standard is positioned to enable other standards to map to this standard. Ultimately, this standard defines a set of general interface content elements and a mechanism for extending these elements during implementation. The scope of this part is limited by the definitions of object model attributes in GB/T 20720.1. This part does not define attributes describing object relationships; these have already been defined in GB/T 20720.1.
