Abstract
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, labeling, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and markings, packaging, transportation, and storage of self-adhesive food-grade plastic wrap.
This standard applies to self-adhesive food-grade plastic wrap (hereinafter referred to as "plastic wrap") produced primarily from resins such as polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride, and polyvinylidene chloride, through single-layer extrusion or multi-layer co-extrusion processes.
