Abstract
This part applies to measurement relays and protection devices used in power system protection, including control, monitoring, and process interface equipment used with these devices. This part specifies the electromagnetic compatibility requirements for measurement relays and protection devices. For devices not composed of electronic circuits, such as electromechanical relays, the tests specified in this part are not required. The requirements of this part apply to new measurement relays and protection devices, and all the tests specified are only type tests.
