This part of GB/T 18329 specifies the detection method for determining the bonding quality between the bearing alloy and the backing using the liquid immersion ultrasonic penetration method.
This part specifies the evaluation method for the receiving probe placed on the outside of the backing, which receives the penetration wave emitted by the transmitting probe from the inside of the alloy layer. If the method of placing the transmitting probe on the outside and the receiving probe on the inside is used, the signal processing method is the same.
This part is applicable to the bonding quality detection of flangeless bearing bushes and sleeve bearings with a copper backing and a steel backing, where the thickness of the alloy layer is ≥ 0.3 mm and the inner diameter is ≥ 40 mm, as well as thrust flange and plane guide-rail type rectangular sliding bearings with a copper backing and a steel backing, where the thickness of the alloy layer is ≥ 0.3 mm. For cast iron backing bearings, this part can be referred to.
Since there are uncertain reflected waves around structures such as the inner chamfers at both ends of the sliding bearing and their vicinities, the edges of the mating surfaces, oil holes, oil pits, oil grooves, positioning lips, etc., which affect the intensity of the penetration wave, this method is not suitable for the detection of such areas. The evaluation method for the bonding quality between the backing and the alloy layer in these areas is specified in GB/T 18329.3.
This part only provides a qualitative evaluation of the bonding quality between the bearing backing and the alloy layer. The penetration wave height passing through the bonding surface between the backing and the alloy is used as the basis for evaluating the bonding quality.
