Abstract
This standard specifies the requirements for measuring instruments used to measure the reflectance density and the tonal value of multicolor screen or continuous-tone reflective printed reproduction materials.
This standard is equivalent in application to measuring instruments that directly use color filters and bandwidth-limiting technology to measure state density, as well as measuring instruments that perform spectral measurements and calculate state density. This standard is not applicable to instruments used to measure continuous-tone originals.
