This standard specifies the terms and definitions, principles, instrumentation, samples, tests, results, calculations, and test reports for testing the elastic modulus of thick ceramic coatings using the pulse excitation method at high temperatures.
This standard is applicable to the testing of the elastic modulus of thick ceramic coatings on metal or ceramic substrates below 1,500 ℃.
