Abstract
GB/T 31971 This part specifies the method of quantitatively determining the performance data of oil skimmers under dynamic water conditions, so that end users can objectively evaluate, compare, and assess the design and performance of different types of oil skimming devices. This method is suitable for testing in water tanks and stipulates the control requirements for oil characteristics and oil slick characteristics. This part is applicable to all types of oil skimmers with equipment sizes within the size limits of the test water tanks. Under controlled conditions, this test process provides comprehensive test results for the tested device and one or more types of oil. Note: When using these test results to predict the performance of oil skimmers under actual working conditions, caution is required.
