Abstract
This standard specifies the dimensions, shapes, and quality tolerances of semi-finished products that are hot-formed by forging, namely steel ingots (Blooms), slabs (Slabs), and billets (Billet) made from the following materials: — General-purpose steels in accordance with EN 10250-1~4 (see reference) — Pressure-use steels in accordance with EN 10222-1~5 (see reference) This standard does not include semi-finished products that require free forging in EN 10243-1 (see reference).
