Abstract
This standard specifies the technologies and processes that should be adopted in the design and production of castings in the manufacturing industry, as well as their applicable scope, alternative technologies, precautions, and other content.
This standard is applicable to guiding casting design and production enterprises (sub-factories, workshops, and production sections) in China to establish green manufacturing production models and achieve green manufacturing. It can also be used as a reference by casting raw and auxiliary material and process equipment manufacturers.
