GB 40159-2021 En-masse conveyors—Safety rules
Abstract
This standard specifies the safety requirements for scraper conveyors (hereinafter referred to as "conveyors") in terms of design and manufacture, installation, use, inspection, and maintenance.
This standard applies to scraper conveyors that can continuously transport bulk materials with a particle size of no more than 100 mm.
This standard does not apply to conveyors used to transport highly corrosive materials, materials with a bulk density greater than 1.8 t/m3, or materials with special physical properties. It also does not apply to conveyors used in environments such as those with explosive gases or flammable dust.
