Abstract
This standard specifies the terms, definitions, symbols, and abbreviations for the efficiency and resistance testing of high-efficiency and ultra-high-efficiency filter media and filters, the selection of test methods, the performance test methods for high-efficiency and ultra-high-efficiency air filters, and the performance test methods for high-efficiency and ultra-high-efficiency filter media. This standard applies to the efficiency and resistance testing of high-efficiency and ultra-high-efficiency filter media and filters used in filtering aerosols. The efficiency and resistance testing of sub-high-efficiency filter media and filters can be carried out in accordance with this standard.
