Abstract
This standard specifies a non-destructive testing method for measuring residual stress based on ultrasonic critical refraction longitudinal waves (travelling waves). This standard is applicable to the detection of residual stress and load stress in metals and non-metallic solid materials and/or components with good ultrasonic transmissivity.
