GB/T 18029.21-2012 Wheelchairs—Part 21:Requirements and test methods for electromagnetic compatibility of electrically powered wheelchairs and scooters,and battery chargers
Abstract
This part of GB/T 18029 specifies the requirements and test methods for electromagnetic radiation and electromagnetic immunity of electric wheelchairs and electric mobility scooters for disabled people with a maximum speed of not more than 15 km/h, both for indoor and/or outdoor use. This part of GB/T 18029 is also applicable to manual wheelchairs equipped with external electric drive assist kits, but not to vehicles that can carry more than one person.
This part of GB/T 18029 also stipulates the electromagnetic compatibility requirements and test methods for battery chargers used with electric wheelchairs and electric mobility scooters.
To facilitate performance comparisons based on test results, reference configurations are provided for adjustable wheelchairs and mobility scooters.
