Abstract
This standard specifies the symbols, designations, and abbreviations, classification, naming, materials, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of molded sheets made from ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (PE-UHMW) and high-density polyethylene (PE-HD) (referred to as "sheets").
This standard applies to PE-UHMW sheets and PE-HD sheets with a thickness of 10 mm to 200 mm.
This standard does not apply to PE-UHMW sheets and PE-HD sheets containing fillers and reinforcing materials.
