Abstract
This section specifies portable, movable, and fixed Class I detectors (as defined in Section 1) for detecting methane concentrations in mine air. Therefore, these detectors or their components can be used in coal mines prone to gas emissions, and the requirements and test methods for the detectors included in this section are specified in Section 1.
